Earlier this evening the Jayhawks were announced as the No. 2 seed in the Midwest region with games being played in Omaha. Now we have game dates, times and announcing crews to add to our list of info for the week ahead.

Kansas will face Detroit on Friday evening in the late game in Omaha. That obviously means that Kansas has the Friday/Sunday schedule this weekend and they would also have the Friday/Sunday schedule should they play in St. Louis the following weekend.

Game date/time: Friday March 16th, approx 8:57 p.m. CST

Location: CenturyLink Center, Omaha Nebraska

TV: TruTV

Announcer: Marv Albert/Steve Kerr//Craig Sager

Having the late game is good from a fan perspective in a lot of ways but the TruTV television slot doesn't necessarily feel the best. All in all it's not that important, the most important thing is beating an interesting 15th-seeded Detroit team and not leaving it to the final minutes.
