Bill Self: End of Mizzou rivalry is 'disappointing and sad'
I could see this coming back someday. Who knows.

This road game is different for the Jayhawks - KansasCity.com
When Kansas players are quizzed about road games, they generally sound the same tone of respect and confidence. It changes; or at least in the amount and type of questions asked for two opponents, and Missouri is one.

I'll miss Missouri
but I don’t see too many scenarios where we play them again. Bad business to allow them equal relevance in our city.

Did anyone see the "draft" on Gameday
It was a joke, they completely played to the crowd. Picked T-Rob 6th and picked 4 MU players in the 18 player draft.
I always drink the Kool-Aid
Going for #8 in a row!
also if it is ok for MU to leave for business reasons
why can’t we stop playing them for business reasons?

I like that you have so little material over the past decade...
That, in order to taunt, you have to use a video of a walk on missing free throws. Especially because of how that season played out afterwards…

so...
we’re up 171-94 on you in basketball, and you think you’re offending us with a one game advantage in a sport we aren’t even very good at?
Use the forks
I was using the count you guys keep trying to push,
Our count is more still.

Difference is
we admit we have a bad history in football. But yet you’re still only very marginally better. Kind of sad if you ask me.
No kidding.
Go brag about 56-55-9 against KU football in the SEC.

And I'm not trying to troll, I promise
Just a little fun banter.
I really want this rivalry to continue. Yes we left, yes we argue about who owns KC. But lets compete for the bragging rights, lets keep it alive. It makes being a fan of both schools more meaningful and more fun
Also, Naismith was 0-2 vs. MU

I have to think that at some point it comes back..
but I do think there are going to be a few years where we don’t see this game.
Questions, Comments? email me at denverjhawk@hotmail.com
Agreed, sadly..
But it has to come back. Make every thing home and home when it does, and it will be better than ever. I would say enjoy the game tonight, but I don’t wish anything good upon your university. Til’ next time

I can't think of much
logic that would say it is coming back. Nothing to gain from the KU side. Lots to gain from the MU side.
Who argues
about who owns Kansas City. Every MIssouri fan I’ve ever met admits they play 2nd fiddle. That’s about to become 4th fiddle.
Not much of an argument
When Mizzou can’t even get all its games on a flagship radio station in KC due to lack of ad sales and they can’t fill Sprint Center for the CBE Classic against quality competition, while KU does against anyone it schedules there.
Can't fill?
They weren’t even 1/4 full for the Missouri games.
