Border War is about matchups and more - KansasCity.com
“We’re going to embrace the crowd and their fans. This is why we came to Kansas, to play in games like this.”
Columbia contests stand out for Self, KU | KUsports.com
As they should.
Size of the opponent hasn’t mattered to MU’s English - KansasCity.com
This is one of the interesting matchups on Saturday.
Matchups yield mismatches for KU, MU | CJOnline.com
That matchup with Kim English is interesting on both ends of the floor.
Kevin Haskin: KU meant to win games like this, even if discontinued | CJOnline.com
So we’ve got us a cease-fire in the Border War with no truce. KU going to Mizzou for the last time in hoops. And a crowd eager to do anything possible to disrupt the Jayhawks, and anxious to see if the stakes aren’t too high for the Tigers.

An easy sell: defensive coordinator Dave Campo excited for jump from NFL to KU | KUsports.com
Media was able to meet with the assistant coaching staff yesterday.
Grunhard brings his passion to KU football - KansasCity.com
The passion wells up in Tim Grunhard, and because he's sitting inside the Kansas football complex and not working with players on a practice field, the release is hand gestures and pounding the table with his fingers.
College Basketball
Top recruit Nerlens Noel moves back to Class of 2012 - ESPN Boston
This reclassifying trend is an interesting one. Hopefully we can stay ahead of the curve on this. Our upcoming class has recovered nicely but I don't want to miss for a few years and end up thin on the bench again like we are this season.
Saint Mary's, Nevada among most dangerous undefeateds, more mail - Seth Davis - SI.com
Guess we should start familiarizing ourselves with some of these guys. We always seem to get lined up against a good one.

We don't make predictions
We just deliver results. 5 national championships, 13 Final Fours, countless conference titles……..and one BCS Bowl game victory. Stuff like that.

Firstrowsports.tv was shut down yesterday
Fear not, firstrowsports.eu will cover all of your sports piracy needs
Made a couple of setting changes that should help with the green issue yesterday. I wasn’t aware I could change that so I apologize for the annoyance.

Eh, it didn't hurt anything.
Kind of funny they’re so much better than us, SEC bull shit and all that yet still spend time coming here to do it.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
Rock Chalk Talk
Wait.
So you mean people really didn’t like any of the crap I wrote yesterday?
Way to deflate my ego.

just an fyi
the preview won’t be until this afternoon thanks to the network being down pretty much all day.

In the article about TRob...
…and how he handles this game – did you see the comments speculating that the Antlers are going to be wearing “No Mom Tom” tshirts?
WTF? I know they’re classless assholes, but really?
Again, can't see it happening.
But if it does they are only embarrassing themselves. Combine that with the fact that those “We Are Mizzou” guys are apparently performing on gameday and you’ve got the makings of a pretty embarrassing Saturday for Missouri.

For serious?
those "We Are Mizzou" guys are apparently performing on gameday

didn't see it?
old tweet or something? I guess if they want to provide a potential POY the motivation then go for it, but it’s about as classless as it gets.

It's the 2nd and 3rd tweet on that page
I’m referring to the We Are Mizzou guys.
ah shoot, I thought you were talking about the NMT deal. I should pay more attention.

I wasn't actually worried about you
It’s all the people on RMN who say we’re recklessly spreading rumors about No Mom Tom shirts. Didn’t want to give them any more material for their delusions.
ha are they really saying that

Oh yes
RCT commentors
are repeating the awful t-shirt myth.

I have only seen this as a rumor on TB
And every Missouri fan I have seen online or in person has blasted the very idea. So of course KU fans assume its true — and repeat it ad nauseum.

I think the only time we've really repeated it...
we’ve all qualified it as a rumor that we really didn’t believe.

missouri fans don't really deal in things like "logic" and "details" though

This is exactly true
And apparently immaterial to them
This comment thread can be read two different ways
1) “No, that’s not going to happen.”
vs.
2) “Really, because OMG they would look like idiots and Robinson would go off!”
So, the truth is in the middle, like usual.
Proud Meth Aggie since 2011.
Haha...
Check your link now. He just updated it to say that the Missouri student body president said they are NOT performing. Apparently the more intelligent heads prevailed.

That is disappointing
The most we can do tomorrow is embarass them during the game. I was really hoping they’d also embarass themselves during Gameday so that the day would be a complete waste.
first time for everything over there

I'm sorry...
…but that would just be awesomesauce. Another thing to point to and remind the SEC “no backsies!”
Though that is even stronger when it comes to aggy. I can’t wait until SEC fan finally experiences the full aggy effect… ;)
12th best
and the best of the College Bball. only soccer staduims and 2 baseball parks and 2 NFl stadiums are ahead of us
Muahahaha...
…that was a weird and really USA-centric list. Lots of stadiums on there I never would have considered.
yeah
Mariucci Arena is the one that stood out most to me. Granted I’m biased but that place is a bit of a dump and doesn’t really have the history to make up for it.

please don't tell me you're a gopher hockey fan

Started college at the U...
…still cheer for the Gophers unless they’re playing KU.
Mine is a fascinating (college) sports fandom hierarchy…
KU > Minnesota > Marquette > Wisconsin >>>>> aggy > KSUck >>>>>> Misery.
Though any game involving two of the three bottom teams is a nuclear bomb/ground opens up and swallows both teams game for me.
I grew up in Milwaukee, parents are MU (the real MU) alums. Did two years at Minnesota, wasn’t doing well, family had moved to OP. Followed down, did a year at JCCC to get my grades up, transferred to KU and got my degree.
TBH, I guess I should put UND in there somewhere, but I guess I only care about them when they’re playing Minnesota in hockey.
Triple banned now? ;)

Well,
Naismith never coach a game there so, yeah…
