Remaining Schedule
So which game is most dangerous the rest of the way?
Saturday, TT at KU
Wed, Feb. 22 KU at Texas A&M
Sat, Feb. 25 Missouri at KU
Mon, Feb. 27 KU at Okla. St.
Sat, March 3 Texas at KU
Coach has commented many times (journos have repeated one of Coach's comments many times recently) that this team is very good when they play with enough energy, but really mediocre when they do not. Obviously, mizzoo is the toughest game remaining, but the guys should be more than focused enough to handle that game.
It would seem to me that the toughest game will come when we are least focused, most ordinary. I'm guessing just being in the Phog will be enough to carry us past a let down after KState. Sr Night should be plenty to get everyone amped, even if TRob doesn't get to speak before he leaves.
My guess is one of those other 2 games - 2 ROAD games against middlin' teams, that will prove to be the toughest game.
Thoughts?

2 sets of rankings
Toughest games:
Mizery
Texas
A&M
OSU
Tech
Most likely to lose:
OSU
Texas
A&M
Mizery
Tech
First set is how difficult I think the game will be, in terms of how good the team is mainly.
The second set is self-explanatory, although the order may not make much sense.
OSU will be tough since they play really well at home, showed in the second half they can play with us, and will be looking for a big win on Senior Night down there.
Texas will most likely be looking for a huge win to fight its way off the bubble.
A&M played us tough in Lawrence, and have the potential to slow that game down again and give us a good run.
Mizery is a great team, but since we pretty much handled them at home, I don’t see how we lose at Allen, especially with Withey emerging like he has.
Tech – Linsanity would have to hit Texas Tech.
I'll give you OSU as our most likely to lose.
However, I’d switch A&M and Texas for the same reason you give for us losing to OSU. That game will be our Senior Night and our players will be too amped up to lose that one.
Here is my order:
OSU
A&M
Texas
Missouri
Tech
What? A girl who likes sports...INCONCEIVABLE!
I just think that Texas is a much better team than A&M
Texas has shown me more, they always play us close, and if we beat Mizery, then we may have nothing to play for at that point, as the conference title will be wrapped up.
We’ve played poorly on Senior Night before, and like I said before, Texas will be desperate.
Either way, if I had to put percentages on it, I’d give Texas a 25% chance of winning and A&M a 20% chance. Either way, not very much.

I see what you're saying and I agree about Texas being the better team.
My thought is that KU will be more “up” for the Texas game vs. the A&M game. I see us trying to sleepwalk through the game at College Station because we are the superior team.

There's also the fact that KU has never lost in College Station
That may be a rallying point for Aggies – and the 8K or so fans who will show up.
I think we're far more likely to have a shooting night like last night on the road
Texas is better than A&M, but playing at home is way better than playing on the road. I think A&M is the most likely loss remaining on the schedule. Trap game on the road against an underachieving team with talent.
I think
if we beat Mizery, then we may have nothing to play for at that point
I think Self would still find a way to motivate the team in closing out the season with wins in order to avoid being possible “co” champions.

1. A&M
We struggled to beat them at home, and their style could give us problems on the road.
2. Missouri
We were the better team in Columbia, and should win at home, but Missouri can win just about anything (sans a trophy) on any given night, and they’ll bring their A game.
3. OSU
I know Self has traditionally lost in GIA, but I’m more worried about a let down after Missouri.
4. Texas
I’ve been [probably irrationally] high on Texas all year, and I think this will be tough, but I trust in AFH
5. TTU
We could somnambulate through this game and still win by 20, right? right?
I think we wax Tech
And take care of Texas at home. I think we’ll beat Missouri, we’ll be out for blood that game. I think A&M has about mailed it in at this point, think we’ll win a 10 point type game on the road there. So… I’m going with Okie State.
They got something rolling against us in the second half. The lackluster first half has them pissed off. We never play well down there and usually lose there (even when we have the better team). They can go unconscious from three. Etc Etc Etc.
Shit happens when you win championships
Okie State for me
then missouri (yes it’s allen fieldhouse and yes we played them to a virtual draw last time) but they (or more appropriately, the narrative of them winning on their way out) scare me a bit.
I write everywhere. You're probably better off following me on twitter
Okie State for sure
then Missouri.
GIA is a tough place to play when they fill it up and you know they will when we’re in town. I’ve seen really good KU team’s lose there to average OKST teams.
Misery after that and that’s because they’re so talented. However, I think we are jacked for that game and win.

If it wasn't full for games with Oklahoma, Baylor, Iowa State or Mizzou
will they get an extra 7K to show up for a KU game? Probably depends on whether the Thunder are at home that day.
I'm going to say they do
people who are on the fence about games will come to just the KU game and that goes for every opposing school in teh conference.
Maybe this year is dfiferent, though, we’ll see.

Could be
Game is on a Monday night but NBA team is idle. Still think they get a bigger crowd than average but not a sellout.
