Who deserves the win? If the Baylor defense continues to play horribly and fails to slow a putrid Kansas offense do they deserve to win? If the Kansas offense fails to exploit a weak Baylor defense do they deserve to win?

Unfortunately for the Jayhawks the answer to those two questions probably don't work in their favor. While the Kansas defense is improving and probably is the strength of this team, they aren't nearly on the same level as Baylor's offense. So the Baylor defense could probably have a letdown yet the offense might still bail them out.

That said, Kansas has surprised some people on multiple occasions against some very high powered offenses. Oklahoma State walked into Lawrence with expectations of running wild, that didn't happen and Kansas made it close. Texas has been riding their offensive improvement this year and Kansas slowed them down to the point that Kansas was just seconds from a win. Do the Jayhawks have another surprising defensive effort in them?

That's probably what it's going to take because the likelihood of the Kansas offense keeping up with Baylor isn't good. If Kansas can slow Baylor down the way they slowed down Texas and OSU they have a shot, but the matchup isn't as favorable and Baylor is much more like a Big 12 team from two years ago where Texas and Oklahoma State are not.
