That close of a game will surprise me.
I think it’ll be 8+. Up about 4 with 1:30 left and then the fouls start.

I'm happy this game is at 7.
It’d be nice if this was a national game, but I’m nervous enough as it is and would hate to wait until 8 for it.
I was a little peeved earlier but now I know I'll get to see the whole thing.

This game really kind of scares me. That being said, we ALWAYS just seem to play to our competition (excluding the 2nd half of the Kentucky game), so my guess is that it’ll be close but that the Fieldhouse will win it for us.

He’s not Jacob Pullen, and we need to make that clear to the world tonight.
Two other things:
1. Owen, you can only see the top half of the new logo on the mobile site. Although just having it say “ROCK” is kinda fun.
2. Xavier Henry was traded to New Orleans today for essentially a 2nd round pick in a 3 team deal. Hopefully he’ll get more PT down there.

Worried when T-Rob missed that early layup,
but we seem to be fairly solid offensively so far. If we can score a decent amount of points tonight i don’t think K-State can stay with us.
If Wesley puts that down, the place goes nuts.
Instead, it’s blocked and we throw it away. Dang.

I think with the pace/intensity of the game,
HCBS is just trying to get him involved early to keep his other players fresh. He’s played okay so far, too.

If he's gonna be the offensive leader next year, he needs to do that.
I hate watching him catch, dribble around, and shoot a jumper. Very few players can be successful doing that.

Well given how bad we looked over the final 8 minutes or so, I'm pretty happy with a 15 point lead at half.
Kind of amazing how we always get that early big lead against Frank Martin teams.
Yes, if we'd let an 18
point lead get down less than 10.at the half I’d definitely not feel so good about this game.

Not going to happen. By his interpretation of the rule, basically you can’t have your arms above someone’s head, and if your elbow hits them at all, you get a flagrant foul.

They just came back from down 14 at half to beat Marquette. Kansas is still their only loss.

there's a "FakeJeffWithey"
twitter handle that has been pretty funny at times this year. I felt like that aggressive move to the basket and dunk was more representative of Fake Jeff Withey as opposed to the real Jeff Withey.

Well, it got a little interesting there for about 10-15 minutes, but it all worked out at the end.

a concealed carry permit ! For two months now, he’s had T Rel camouflaged as a defensive specialist.
If you told me Releford vs Samuels goes this way – points+4, rebounds+5, offensive rebounds+2, assists+1 and floorburns+3 – I’d have said KU wins by 15, maybe even 18 or 20.

We knew the defense would be there
But if Travis can continue to get to the rim and knock down the open shot (plus his fantastic defense) KU is going to be very hard to beat.
He showed signs tonight of the player we kept hoping he’d be. Hope this is a nice springboard for him.
