Well,
I guess we’ll see how good Dave Campo is at developing players.
The name of that song played at KC Comets games in the '80's was Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase." Now you know.
How do we know he's going to the D side?
This kid is listed as an Athlete. That means he could be a: WR, QB, TE, LB, DB, Punter…..shit just about anything.

Not many ATH guys who become punters

I'm guessing
it’s the link at the bottom of the page there where they say he’s a CB
I write everywhere. You're probably better off following me on twitter
Why wouldn't he just be listed as a CB then?
I’ve never really understood this “ATH” designation.

hell if i know
i am a wealth of football knowledge but this one has evaded me

Because he's been playing DB
and that’s where we have a need. He’s also not tall enough to be a HCCW pro-style wide receiver…
So I figured that he’d be on the defensive side of the ball…

The class won't be ranked high
but the rankings don’t take into account the transfers. I am fairly impressed overall so far.
It's not that I'm lazy; it's that I just don't care.
Comparing other classes
I’d say we’re in about the same neighborhood as Virginia

class size hurts us this year as well.
Just like last year when it helped us. All in all I think class rankings are pretty tough to take anything from unless you’re talking about some of those elite classes on the list. For us this year it’s all about addressing needs. I think we’ve done that in some pretty key areas.

Not high b/c
they won’t consider the transfers. Not many programs have as many 5* & 4* players.
rankings are less than meaningless
i’m excited about what weis is doing, but all that really matters is what kind of ship he runs and what he does with the players once he gets them here.

I strongly agree with this.
I think recruiting is less than 50% of the battle. The majority of the battle is how you develop those recruits. Especially at a school like Kansas where we’re not going to get the cream of the crop.
