Nobody’s perfect: KU loses first Big 12 game - KansasCity.com
Iowa State definitely got their revenge.
FINAL: Iowa State hands KU first conference loss in 72-64 triumph | KUsports.com
Again, somewhat felt like this was coming. Frustrating part of it was the fact that Iowa State didn't really play that great, we just played very poorly and didn't match their effort.
Tyshawn Taylor only above-average performer against Iowa State | The Keegan Ratings | KUsports.com
This was really the first time that Robinson really failed to deliver. He's had off games here and there, but he still always seems to do enough to be a difference maker. This really was Tyshawn and the rest of them in this game.
Big 12
Texas Longhorns vs. Baylor Bears - Recap - January 28, 2012 - ESPN
Texas has to catch someone soon. They had a close one against Kansas, close one against Baylor. They have Missouri on Monday in Austin, just not sure how well they matchup with the Tigers.
Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Missouri Tigers - Recap - January 28, 2012 - ESPN
Tigers didn't play all that well in this one, but it was kind of a snoozer so I guess you can't completely blame them. Just typical college basketball.
Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Texas A&M Aggies - Recap - January 28, 2012 - ESPN
This game didn't mean a whole lot, but it did remind everyone why that OSU upset over Mizzou was so shocking. They just aren't good. On the other hand, A&M looked improved. A game in College Station might be trickier than it originally seemed.
Oklahoma Sooners vs. Kansas State Wildcats - Recap - January 28, 2012 - ESPN
OU sweeps the season series with this one. K-State moves firmly into fifth with Iowa State taking 4th position.

So close to signing day and all is silent!
The name of that song played at KC Comets games in the '80's was Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase." Now you know.

nothing yet
Not sure what is expected today. Handful on campus. I’m thinking we sign somewhere in the 5-8 more and then leave some sitting for transfers as Weis mentioned.

At least it's not freezing balls and snowy this weekend for the recruits
I always thought Lawrence in Jan/Feb must be a tough sell. Even Mt. Oread can look gloomy in the winter months.
Thought I heard there was an OL & TE
from Dayne’s class that would be graduating and ready to be reunited with their choice of a coach for a year.
those are some of the rumors out there.
Weis has acknowledged that he is expecting some. Guess we’ll wait and see.

Keegan ratings
“Only TT above average.”
Though there aren’t stats for D, Travis did at least an above average job for 39 minutes, especially filling in at the 4 when we had the fouls up front. It would be nice to get a few more points out of him when the others are slow, up to say he was below average is just lazy (IMO/typical TK).
recruits
