Pretty pumped up for this one
In-conference showdowns with top teams is where its at, especially with the round-robin schedule we have this year.
Here’s to a nice run in the first 10 minutes and the opportunity to play with the lead through the game.
GO HAWKS!

Looks like the Pitt-Syracuse game is going to go late (shocker!!!)
In light of that, then, give me your best shot at:
1. How much time is left in the first half when ESPN finally switches over to the KU game;
and
2. What is the score at that time?
Criticize FHOFNCHCBS at your own risk...
I'll go first:
My guess is they switch over at about 16:30 left, and Baylor leads 7-4.

I'm watching the Weis presser right now
Getting pumped for football season. I know we aren’t going to turn into a bowl team overnight, but I’m optimistic we’ll be improved and Weis will get us going in the right direction, even if it takes a while
Shit happens when you win championships
GREAT presser.
Such a difference from the last two years. I came away impressed with Weis and impressed with Crist. It’s just nice to listen to someone who really gives off a sense of confidence and understanding of the game etc.

Seriously, I just cannot stand the guy. And that was before he was a complete dick about the Bernie Fine situation.

I honestly think he should have been fired

I’m stupidly optimistic about this one. 75-68 KU

I said 78-65 KU earlier today. I'll stick with that.

I’ve only heard you, Jack Harry and Dick Vitale making guarantees about how teams will finish the season.
Pretty exclusive crowd, you three.
Vitale predicted Syracuse will go undefeated
Since it doesn’t involve MU, you can probably see how that looks like a pretty loony prediction
On every Mizzou fan's wall:

Big difference is that Taylor adjusted sideways and the Baylor guy flopped, instead of just leaning into the charge of a guy who was basically way out of control going to hit him anyway whether he leaned or not.
Taylor jumped sideways and the guy fell the other way.
Clearly contact.

(2) the charge call on TT was BS (Baylor guy, feet set, still moved into him).

T2 is not a "controversial player"
I’m sick of hearing that he’s been controversial for the past 4 years. He got his feelings hurt and tweeted something stupid. That’s it.
Sure, and he's been criticized.
But it’s not like there’s this huge history there
I think they meant that he's a lightning rod
Which he is, for KU fans. I love him, but others hate him, and there is nothing either group can say to the other to make anyone change their mind.

One of many things that makes Knight and Bilas far superior to Vitale
is their willingness to say the refs missed the call instead of saying “must have been with the body” on an all-ball block
espn 3 is not working for me
But when I heard Vitale was doing the call on ESPN I felt much better about it.

Very astute
I think that’s exactly right. If we can hold serve at home, 15-3 definitely ought to get it done
what are the requirements to get a jersey retired
Does T-Rob get his retired?
Since 2005: Royals win% = .4100, Chiefs win% = .4095
alot isn't a word.
There are no official requirements anymore
But 1st-team All-American, any major National Award, and other things qualify you (like being the winningest Jayhawk of all-time – looking at you, Sherron)

The requirements were bullshit made up by Roy to get a bunch of his players up there
The criterion that got Jacque Vaughn up there was the most ridiculous
Tyshawn needs to pull his own weight...
2 boards isn’t going to get it done
Since 2005: Royals win% = .4100, Chiefs win% = .4095
alot isn't a word.
He Decided To
Go easy on them.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

You can see the bruise on his face
But I didn’t see it happen during the game
Big red mark on his face. I’m guessing an errant pass in practice

Was it the marks from his surgery or something new?
He had some pre-cancerous stuff removed a few weeks back.
It looked like an impact mark
About the size of a stick of gum, uniform brick red color. Just looked like he got popped recently.
On his forehead?
Because that’s where the stuff he had removed was. I didn’t see his interview tonight, so I’m not sure what you guys are referring to.
From the bridge of his nose across the inside of his left eybrow to just above the eyebrow
A couple inches long, half inch wide
Yeah, you're probably right.
That doesn’t sound like what I had seen prior to tonight. Guess he got hit in the face at some point.
I found this amusing
Fran Fraschilla
Has Withey surpassed Chenowith yet? I think so
He's probably better than Fab Melo
More boring name, though
