Huge game for Tyshawn.
Kevin Haskin: KU gains confidence with T-Rob on bench | CJOnline.com
It's always good to have other people who are confident in stepping up. Self does seem to have more of that going on lately with Releford and Tyshawn being a couple of recent examples.

Big 12
Phil Pressey, No. 9 Mizzou finish off Texas - KansasCity.com
Nice win for the Tigers. Despite the initial loss to K-State it's pretty clear that they'll be in the hunt this year.
K-State comes out flat in loss at Oklahoma - KansasCity.com
I just don't see it with K-State. Not that we won't have our hands full in Manhattan but I see it as a race between KU, Baylor and Mizzou with Iowa State, K-State, A&M and Texas in a second tier. Oklahoma is a bit of a wild card, OSU hasn't impressed me and Tech is where Iowa State was a few years back.

Seminoles hand UNC its worst loss under Williams - KansasCity.com

KSU is definitely out of the race
I think whoever wins the conference will need 14 Ws. Not that that K-State can’t go on another of their late-season runs, but I really don’t see this group finishing on an 11-1 streak.
In the words of the great Dennis Green: They are who we thought they were.
Use the forks
Wish I could agree . .
I don’t think anyone is out of it with 14 games left. K-State has probably played the toughest stretch they will see. My bet is they end with a minimum of twelve wins.

They've got a tougher stretch in another month.
Home against us, at Baylor, at Missouri, then back home against ISU, all in a 12 day period. Might even include playing at Texas two days prior to our game, and at A&M three days after the ISU game. Pretty brutal.
Yep
I can’t see them winning more than two in that stretch.
KState hasn’t shown me enough for me to buy they are anything more than a 10-8 team at best. That is about where I put them before the season too, as did most. Then they had a strong non-con and people their fans got massively inflated expectations and thought this team could challenge for the league title. Which is a joke. They’re a decent team, but nowhere near conference champion good.

Who has mizzoo beaten
that there is serious consideration to them being a top team?
They have almost no interior game. I expect them to lose 2 to KU & BU, plus at least 1 or 2 more. They may have an elite perimeter, but that’s only half a team. They’re not close to being in contention in my book. Maybe top of the mid-pack, but this is a 2 horse race.
They'll have a few games where they don't shoot well from 3
And they’ll lose those games. They can really fall in love with the 3 ball, but when that inevitable 5 of 24 from 3 game hits, they’ll be in trouble.

They are
But I’m not sold on them winning the league, not yet. Not until they beat us :)
