I was hoping for a little more from the McCoy article

All she really did was insinuate that some of the other guys on the team accepted gifts here and there. The NCAA knows that goes on at literally every single school. There was nothing specific enough or big enough for them to launch a retroactive investigation. Though it sounds like Mrs. McCoy doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut, and if Colin Cowherd wasn’t awful, he could have taken that somewhere interesting.

I agree, in general

I think the article is trying to create something out of really nothing…..Not all the kids are going to be able to say “no” to the 40 year old educated lawyers. That’s happening everywhere, not just at Texas.

I don’t have a problem with anything she stated. It’s all accurate and all commonplace. She did nothing more than state the obvious.

build a damn football program, beat some ass, and get on tv more.

But his wife is still good looking. Why does he need the super model trophy wife? I imagine that the normal person would come with less drama. And who knows how long they dated? Was it high school? College? Or was she the first gold digger he met since the NFL?

He’s shown the flashes before. I think he went 4 for 4 from three against someone last season…

Other guys have really improved their shot at KU. Releford went from someone who couldn’t hit water from a boat to a 40%ish 3 point shooter last year. If EJ can get in the gym and get that more consistent, will be noice.

Losing TyBrady MorningReed will hurt, and I was terrified about our outside shooting next year. However, if our guys keep making strides with their shot, we could have something like the following in regards to three point shooting:

Taylor (36%)
Johnson (38%)
Releford (38%)

I don’t think that is anything outragous, and certainly not bad for a fast team looking to get to the rim and get out in transition.
