Update
Kansas junior twin forwards Marcus and Markieff Morris have been in Los Angeles this week meeting with an agent named Jason Martin, according to Yahoo! Sports NBA reporter Marc Spears, who is citing a source.
The report says that the Morris twins are close to signing with Martin. But on Friday afternoon, Angel Morris, the twins’ mother, told The Star by text message that is inaccurate.
Angel Morris said Marcus and Markieff would make their NBA decisions final “sometime next week.”
In draftexpress.com’s latest NBA draft projections, Marcus is predicted to be picked 16th overall, and Markieff is predicted to go 20th.
KU coach Bill Self said Tuesday that he would allow his players some time to unwind from the season before speaking with them about their futures next week after he returns from Final Four functions in Houston.

I have a hard time
believing all this is going down while HCBS is in Houston last night and the next few days. The UCLA dude is gone and plenty of fans over there pretty upset about it. I am not surprised if they leave but will wait for the official press conference to happnen. Not being projected in the lottery has to put some hesitation into the decision. If they go, they need to made into poster childs of work ethic. The growth of those 2 over the last couple of years has been nothing short of amazing. They will go down as 2 of my favorite players in KU history.
Agreed.
Not being projected in the lottery has to put some hesitation into the decision.
Tough to know what another year would do for them, if Marcus comes out and shows he can handle the ball and take a guy off the dribble consistently he could skyrocket. I don’t think Markieff has as much upside in another year.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
