A cranky Mizzou friend of mine
Just pointed out that the title on the graph should have an “or” in place of the “and.” It implies that those are the number of years that KU and Mizzou won both the regular season AND conference championship.
We all know KU has done it, but Mizzou has not.
Doesn't "and" also mean together?
As in adding regular season and tournaments? Either way, we KNOW Missouri hasn’t won a Big12 regular season title so there’s no f’ng way it means combined.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

Yes
But using “or” is better because it doesn’t have the dual meaning that “and” does. These are the kind of Border War arguments I get into with fellow journalism majors/grammar nerds.
I can see that and "fixed" it

I don't know.
“Or” is a disjunctive. Using a disjunctive to conjoin championships and titles is a bit odd.
With the Big XII ending next week after15 years
each team will have had the opportunity to win 30 total titles between the league and the tourney.
Even if we lose the tourney next week, our final number will be 18. Or 60%. Seems low, doesn’t it?
I guess that’s because our regular season number is 11. Or 73%.
But then you remember that in second place is Oklahoma with 4. Or 13%. And their regular season number is 1. Or 3%
Another good graph

I was going to do regular season titles only
but I was afraid people would think I just used the graph from yesterday again.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
