From someone who fully expected some acknowledgment of the accomplishment by the team let me just say that I count this as another indication that this is KANSAS.

I do not think that we should celebrate because we tied it and have a chance to win it outright; we would rather do it ourselves than hope for help from someone else. We did not celebrate in the locker room even though the Big 12 trophy was there.

- Bill Self

I'm going to say it again because it never gets old.  Last night secured back to back to back to back to back to back to back league championships.  According to Self, the team didn't celebrate.  Now I can't say for certain, but I'd be fairly confident that there isn't another team in the league that shows that restraint and I can think of a few that would have rioting in the streets.  Not bad being a Jayhawk I'd say.

Expectations.  A blessing and a curse, but always a great indicator of the level this program sits on a National scale.
