Kansas Basketball 50 in 50, No. 24: Robinson, Taylor Make All Big 12 Teams

Stay connected for news and updates

50 in 50 is a feature here at RCT counting down until the Jayhawks kick off the 2011 basketball season on November first. Got an idea for something you'd like to see featured here? tweet @rockchalktalk or @fetch9 or email me at fetch9 at gmail dot com.

The preseason all-Big 12 teams were announced and a pair of Jayhawks were given the honor of being preseason all conference performers. Thomas Robinson was named to the first team and Tyshawn Taylor was an honorable mention selection.

Robinson was one of three unanimous selections, including player of the year pick Perry Jones (Baylor)

The other first teamers were Marcus Demon of Missouri, J'Covan Brown of Texas and Khris Middleton of Texas A&M. For me they got the first teamers correct, or at least there were no obvious errors, but I would have liked to have seen Carl Blair Jr. (Oklahoma) get some honorable mention love, as well as Rodney McGruder, who had a pretty nice little year for K State last year.
