Honestly the Kansas numbers on offense keep getting better and that should continue this week given where Oklahoma State struggles defensively. I think the most interesting thing is that despite the interceptions, Jordan Webb's efficiency number really didn't drop all that much.
At the end of the day the biggest concern though is still the defense. Look at that little section on the Kansas side full of 118-120's and compare that to the little section on the OSU side with 2-6's. That's a problem, that's a huge disparity and it's going to be hard to overcome unless we either come out with a killer gameplan or somehow completely change a trend.
The problem is that we're four games in and at some point you are what your numbers say you are and right now Kansas is a pretty good offensive team, an improving team on special teams and a downright BAD team on the defensive side of the ball.
I think the mission is clear at this point and it's recruit, recruit, recruit...DEFENSE. That or find a coaching staff on the defensive side of the ball that this team believes in because some of the quotes trickling out make it seem as though that might not be the case. And can you blame them?
