I am posting this story for multiple reasons. 1) Absolutely ridiculous sums of money the Nike boss is spending there. Things are completely controlled by him. He doesn't really donate money, he just gets his architects and builders to build anything and everything he wants. 2) The Oregon president (former KU provost) basically says Knight controls the University 3) Their academic support building is 3 times more expensive per square foot than comparable buildings at Miami and Ohio State 4) He is currently building a 130,000 square foot football operations center -- that is more than 1,500 square feet per scholarship player!
