I'm fortunate to have a ticket to the game on Saturday, but I'm unfamiliar with Lawrence and I don't know where to park.

I have the ticket through a package with Village Tours out of Wichita, but I live and work in Manhattan so I'm going to meet my Mom outside Allen Fieldhouse. However, I have no idea where to park, and I couldn't be less familiar with the way Lawrence is laid out, so I'm asking you guys where you recommend I try to park in town.

I will be coming from the west along I-70. Thanks to google maps I should be able to find directions to any location easily.
