It's been a long and sometimes ugly offseason, but it ends tonight. A fresh start, plenty of new faces and a host of unknowns. It's been a great day getting back into the swing of college football and tonight our own Jayhawks kickoff against North Dakota State.
For Kansas this is a game they should win. North Dakota State has had success against FBS schools in years past, but this is a team with a lot of new faces and plenty of question marks itself. For Kansas this presents an opportunity to get on the field and work on what should amount to a new look with live competition. It's a new era, an exciting day and this one should be a fun tune up.

The scheme switch is a definite possibility. These guys were recruited to block in the spread
but that’s no excuse for the 3rd down. That’s what they should be able to do.
