It's Good to Be Kansas
The Big 12 just released the 2010 men's basketball conference schedule with television listings and lo and behold the Jayhawks won't be hard to find.
Our very own six-time defending Big 12 Conference men's basketball champion Kansas will have all 31 of its 2010-11 regular-season games NATIONALLY TELEVISED, according to the schedule released by the conference Tuesday.
Kansas will appear on three CBS, seven ESPN, four ESPN2, four ESPNU and one Fox Sport Network telecast. ESPN will air two more of KU's conference games on either ESPN or ESPN2; which the network will determine at a later date.
Should make for a great season of open threads here at Rock Chalk Talk.

Sounds like
I will get to watch almost all of the games then. Now if only we could get most of the football games on ABC.
2:30 timeslot...
would be great for football. Or Saturday night, I’d take that too.

BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
No games on ABC. The ABC deal is BS. It’s a “National” broadcast, uh huh, right….
I don’t want any games on ABC because that means unless you live in the Big XII area the game won’t be on. Hate it. I’d much rather be on VS or FCS…. but that’s just me….

I'm confused here
The KUAthletics site has the Longwood, Valparaiso, North Texas, TAMU-CC, Ohio and UMKC on Jayhawk TV. Has that changed?

Apparently, it hasn’t been updated, though, because it has a ton of conference games on the Big XII network.
So excited for basketball season!
(football, too)
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

There are already several FB games lined up on national TV
for the team that was almost "left out" of conference realignment, and is coming off of a pathetic FB season. It will be great to get to see the ’Hawks even more as the networks get onboard.
awful lot of network time
for a school that would have supposedly been “left out” of conference realignment.
We are getting a lot of TV time
but I don’t consider the Big12 Network games, or the JTV games to be national. I know that people all over the country can watch those games if they want to order the Full Court package, but I consider national games to be the ones where everyone can watch for free or part of a regular cable package.

That’s 21 games by my count… what did I miss??

oh...like Tristan eludes to above...
several of the non-con on JTV, Big 12 Network and part of the ESPN full court so they are “available” nationally but not without a little more effort.

I like watching the University of Kansas athletics compete on television
Shit happens when you win championships
Lots of TV time
Wonderful. Now I can watch all the games from the comfort of my couch.
