WR suggestions
I said I was taking a break but i lied!
Give your WR suggestions, and i'll tell you why your wrong.
The Team so far.......
QB's
Starter: Todd Reesing
2nd string: John Hadl
3rd string: Bobby Douglass
RBs
starter: Gale Sayers
2nd: Tony Sands
3rd: John Riggins
4th: John Henley
FBs
Starter:John Riggins
2nd: Brandon McAnderson
3rd: Morran Norris
Still a lot of work to do. The O-lines going to be a pain in the a** I think i might have to break it down by Tackle, Center, and Guard but that would take soooooooooo long.

Dezmon Briscoe
Kerry Meier
Marcus Henry?
Isaac Byrd?
Willie Vaughn
Mark Simmons???
Just some thoughts.
In terms of o-line, I say just throw 10-15 whatever up and take the top 5. If people want to try to go traditional 2T, 2G and a center great, but it may be a top 5 regardless as well.
In case you missed it...I used to go by Denverjhawk : )

Can't argue with these
Offensive line and defense positions a little more groupage and such. Might be easier to do individual “OT, OG, C, DT, DE, OLB, ILB, S, CB”

A couple more WR candidates
David Verser – 1st round pick of Bengals in 1981. Turned out to be a bust in the NFL.
Ron Jessie – Was at KU for 2 seasons I believe in the late 60’s/early 70’s. Spent 11 seasons in the NFL – mostly with the LA Rams I think (I have football cards of him with the Rams). Actually made 1 Pro Bowl as a WR.
I’m tempted to nominate Charles Gordon but I believe his numbers went down once he became a starter at CB (and Bill Wittemore graduated). After he set a KU receiving record for a freshman I thought he was going to put up big numbers at WR but he had 2 things going against him – no reliable QB after Witttemore and Nick Quartaro as offensive coordinator. Imagine Charles Gordon’s numbers if Warriner was OC and Reesing was throwing him the ball.
He still played a little WR
He was pretty much our third WR his soph year while also being a sick cornerback. Similar to how we used Talib later.
Remember it was Gordon who the imfamous offensive pass interference was called on when we beat (yeah I said beat!) Texas in 2004.
I agree though, it would have been awesome to see how he panned out at WR, but at least we still got to see him on that side of the ball a little bit. And you are right, given our situation at QB in 2004 and 2005, its probably better we moved him to Corner. He got noticed and now is a nickle back on one of the best defenses in the NFL (being a Packer fan I just threw up a little bit in my mouth when I said that)
