Can anybody say...
Mitch Mustain??? That would fix some of our QB issues, I’d imagine…
When is Late Night?
I could see MIzzou benefitting here...
weren’t there a handful of kids that were looking at you guys but ended up at SC in recent years?
53 Conference Championships!! and now 6 IN A ROW!!! Holy Hell...Good Luck with That!!
I'm sure we offered the same players...
… and the Rivals profile showed both Missouri and USC, but let’s be honest, Mizzou wasn’t seriously in the mix for those guys.
The bigger issue is the lack of scholarships right now. I can’t imagine MU being a player in the USC auction, I just wanted to make the Arrested Development reference…
ah very true...
forgot you guys are working with a pretty small allotment this year.
53 Conference Championships!! and now 6 IN A ROW!!! Holy Hell...Good Luck with That!!
I think we're looking at 18 at the MOST.
Which is why Darrian Miller hasn’t/may not ever get an offer.
What if Tony Mitchell doesn't come through?
Is his scholarship freed up or does it roll over to next year?
!!!
…sale…
Would you like to follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or my blog...well you can't.

wow
“The real issue here is if you have high-profile players that your enforcement staff has to monitor,” said Paul Dee, chairman of the NCAA’s committee on infractions
Those schools with one and dones in BB beware the NCAA might open their eyes a little bit. It did take them 5 years to conclude this seemingly slam dunk case though.
Ok
So maybe the punishment is a bit more severe than I had originally expected.
Good luck USC playing with Freshman and Sophomores the next two years.
There simply is no substitute for experience.
I'm really hoping that the Vols....
clean up on this, that would really be nice final FU to Lane Kiffen.
53 Conference Championships!! and now 6 IN A ROW!!! Holy Hell...Good Luck with That!!
Oh totes!!
That would be sweet. Especailly remembering that Kiffin was playing USC highlights to his kids in Knoxville the day he bolted…
The Kansas City Royals; Successfully failing since 1986
Kiffin just had a quote to the effect of
‘If a kid wants to transfer from the best place to play football in the entire world, then who is USC to stand in their way’
I hate this guy more everyday!
It's not that I'm lazy; it's that I just don't care.
Not to be unnecessarily contrarian,
but isn’t there a big upside to allowing upperclassmen to transfer from USC?
USC gets to give all its new recruits/freshmen/sophomores lots of game-time experience, which, by the time the post-season ban is lifted, should come in VERY handy, I’d imagine.
Sure, the ban sucks for USC, but they will have some really well-seasoned juniors and seniors at the end of it.
When is Late Night?
that depends
depends entirely on whether kids will want to go to USC, knowing that they’ll play their first two years without any postseason opportunities. I agree that the on-field experience will help whoever is there, but I don’t think it will be their usual elite talent

Also helps them in their scholarship situation, right?
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball...Rock Chalk Talk
I would think so, yes.
If 30 players leave, they don’t have to change anything really. Or, at least it’s much easier to deal with the restrictions.
When is Late Night?
I'm confused
Does the 30 lost scholarships mean like 1 entire class? Or like 10 a year for 3 years?
Also, I would imagine kids go to U$C more to prepare for the NFL than to play in the Emerald Bowl. I bet less players leave than expected.
You can never have too much talent.
