Kansas Baseball Series with Saint Louis Becomes Doubleheader (Press Release from the Baseball Team):
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The two-game series between Kansas and Saint Louis University will be played as a doubleheader beginning at noon on Saturday. With rain in the forecast for the entire day Sunday, the teams decided to make the change.
The bad news is: "Due to uncertain weather and facilities, there will be no audio broadcast of these games." Game tracker is the only way to follow the team today, sigh.

Ga1: KU 4 - St. Louis 0 (2nd)
In his first at-bat since rejoining the team Jake Marasco hit an RBI single to open the scoring. KU is now up 4-0 in the top of the second inning.
I hate that there is no play by play broadcast for this game, but on the other hand, it is rather amazing that they are playing baseball at all today. I have eight inches of snow in my front yard and it is still snowing here in Lawrence.

But I thought it was impossible to play baseball except on warm days in deluxe stadiums?

KU needs to warm up those bats!
St. Louis took advantage of some wildness and poor fielding on T.J. Walz’ part to score four runs of their own in the fifth. KU now trails 6-5. SLU is not a team the Hawks should lose to, even on the road.

I saw it was a bad weekend for KU baseball as well.
But Tony comes back soon, right?
