Whitlock is in his element when talking football or basketball. I will say if KC ever gets an NBA team we should have really solid coverage.

As for the article, JW provides a really nice breakdown of UNI and the threat they pose to KU.

I'll read that before I post about them

but as of right now after watching them, I’m not scared at all.

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

well they do pose a threat

and I rather would have played UNLV, but UNI isn’t really that deep. They only play 7 guys regularly, and Eglseder plays less than half of their minutes.

They have some guys who can shoot the three, but only one guy who takes a lot of them.

They’re also a bad offensive rebounding team and while they’re a good defensive rebounding team we’re a good offensive rebounding team.

I’m worried cause if we lose our season is done, but KenPom has us at 85% to win,and I think it’s higher than that.

I like reading Whitlock to a degree but

while he understands Football & Hoops, he often goes more for the sensationalist/alarmist angle to generate hype. Yeah I think KU should be wary of UNI, but he also makes KU as a bunch of Putzs. Yes KU started slow against Lehigh, but I never felt KU was always in control of the game. He tries to make it sound like KU barely won…

Depending on which KU team shows up KU should smash UNI or should win a close one by 6 or so.
