You'd think he'd want to appease a larger voter base...

and one in a more critical state…this only takes care of one state and one of little importance to him at that.

I would have expected Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Duke, and West Virginia

if Kansas goes blue, the whole thing will be tipped on its end. Kansas (which prior to Goldwater) was traditionally a democratic state, not only that, it leaned very heavily towards socialism what with all the farmer coops and what not.

For those of you who are willing to take a chance, read the book What’s the Matter With Kansas. Very enlightening if not, then at very least it’s entertaining.
