Who spooks you?
Link above goes to the latest Bracketology. Question for debate: what teams would you least like to play against before the Final Four. I think we know that a couple of elite teams are likely unavoidable, but below that tier, who would you like to see as far from KU's bracket as possible?

I'll start
I would rather not have anything to do with Ohio State or Georgetown. Both of those teams feature players that I feel could reek absolute havoc against us.
We saw what Anderson could do for Okie Light. Imagine what Evan Turner would have in store. And Monroe is playing at such a high level, I see him getting our front line in a ton of foul trouble.

agreed completely
Chris Wright is the kind of guard who could cause problems, too. But I don’t know how long Morningstar could hold down Turner.
Notre Dame also really worries me. All in all, having Notre Dame and Ohio State in our bracket doesn’t make me feel good.
That being said, Okie Light as Kentucky’s second round game would be really entertaining.

I too agree with Ohio State and Georgetown
Evan Turner is a huge matchup problem for everyone, including KU. Overall, OSU has a great starting five. Lighty, Diebler, and Buford are all good scorers.
Georgetown’s threesome of Wright, Freeman and Monroe is tough to beat when they’re on. Monroe in particular could cause KU problems with his outstanding passing ability. Double teaming him probably won’t be effective because he’s such a good passer. Plus he can be effective away from the basket thus drawing Cole out of the middle of the lane. Also, Georgetown’s offensive scheme with its backdoor cuts could give our man-to-man defense fits.
The weakness for both of those teams is a lack of quality depth. However, in the NCAA tournament depth can sometimes be overrated. There is always at least a day off between games and the TV timeouts are longer.
This comment is awesome now.
A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

I'm starting to wonder if the Committee read this post...
Toss those two and the two teams that beat us all in the same region. Then add a guy like Derrick Favors- why the hell not!

No kidding.
It was like “these are the people we have fears about” and they tossed all of them into our bracket. I think it’s going to be fun as hell.

I'm scared of spiders, coach.
“Well that’s not what I meant. I mean on the field.”
“You mean like spiders on the field?”
“Can we get beyond the spiders?
“Bees.”
I’m sorry, but something about the title of the post made me think of this scene.
Spiders aren't a bad answer.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

Honestly, this fits Kansas well.
Richmond, and schools starting with “Bees”
Types of teams I don't want to see
Aside from Killer B’s (I guess that would be Butler and Baylor this year) and teams with orange jerseys, there are also certain types of teams I’d rather not see KU face.
- Teams with a center that plays away from the basket. KU is so much better defensively when Cole can camp out in the lane and not respect his man’s outside shooting.
- Teams like Wisconsin that like to slow the game down and “muddy it up” as Coach Self would say. It’s boring to watch as a fan and I’m guessing it can be very frustrating for the players. KU has won this type of game this year, but it wasn’t easy.
- Teams that excel at offensive rebounding. I’m not going by any stats to back this up but it sure seems like KU gives up way more offensive rebounds than it should. KU’s first shot defense has generally been solid, and sometimes great, all year so it’s incredibly frustrating to watch them allow so many 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities.
The only thing I'd say about the offensive rebounding thing
is K-State’s a damn good offensive rebounding team and KU’s 3-0 this year against them. Of course, it helps that they can’t shoot and foul a ton.

and CBS bracket has Georgetown as our #2

Northern Iowa/Marquette in the 8/9 game is a little scary, especially Northern Iowa. I could see Cornell upsetting New Mexico in round 1 and Purdue in round 2. With Temple’s big man (Foote), they could cause problems for Georgetown.
Can you imagine a rematch with Cornell in the Sweet 16 and then a rematch with Temple in the Elite Eight? Really interesting.
Digger just said
Ohio State should be our 2.
I dislike that greatly.

That's dumb
there’s no way they are the worst 2

The 2 line gets interesting
because K-State should be a 2, so that pretty much eminates them as a possible one on our bracket, so we’re left with what : Ohio State, WV, G-Town? None of them I’d like to face.

Well
I think WVa and Duke will be 1-2 in the same region. I think we’ll get Georgetown. Unless they give Purdue a 2 (which I doubt they will).

I'd love a Purdue #2
and would have no problem with West Virginia.

Right now...
nobody. If we lose, before the final four…I think we’ve beaten ourselves. We’re balanced, deep and the rotation is looking better and better lately.
