to get three points as the second best team in the group. We will likely lose to England, or get lucky and take a point. We beat Algeria, though, for sure, and no way we lose to Slovenia – draw AT WORST. We will advance.

Because I’m remaining hopeful we WONT turn it over as much as the game goes on, if that makes sense.

We keep playing defense like we are we’ll be in good shape. However in a Rick Barnes team fashion, they are gonna start running high screens and chucking threes. Not a whole lot we can do to control whether those go in or not

Thats why I compared him to Manning. They both were unstoppable in the regular season, not as great (still real good) in the post season, their teams both made the playoffs every single year, and they both won one championship.

Baseball plays a 7 game series, so Maddux has to rely on other pitchers to get wins.

Yes but...

I don’t think it was too rough though. We had a lot of shots blocked but it was our smalls taking it underneath and Texas made a play. They’ve been settling for jump shots. Hopefully the refs keep letting them play, it’s just fun to watch.

Not perfect, mind you. A couple of silly shots, a lot of poor defense on Damion James. But other than that, we’ve played really well. People hitting shots. People getting hte ball down low. Playing incredible defense on everyone except Damion.

3. More of the same Morri intensity on defense
