I couldn't be happier...
that Lew and the AD is throwing the necessary resources at football. It can’t be overstated how important great assistants are to a program. We’re doing what it takes to get and keep good ones. If you want to see an example of a program that isn’t….look out in Boulder Colorado, they are failing miserably in this department and it’s dragging the program down.
52 Conference Championships!! Holy Hell...Good Luck with That!!
and they won't be yelled at and berated on a consistent basis
(allegedly)

While I agree that our AD is throwing resources,
I think he could do a much better job of doing it via the flexibility that contracts give you. Why wouldn’t we put in a graduated scale into a contract, throwing money at the coaches only after they have proved they can get the job done?
Just because you can afford any car on the lot at the Mercedes dealership doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t negotiate with the salesman.
There simply is no substitute for experience.

I understand that...
as it pertains to Gill, but several of these assistants are pretty proven and in some instances taking a lesser title to come to Kansas.

We also don't know
the specifics of the negotiations Perkins and Gill went through to get to Gill’s eventual contract. Remember, we hired Gill pretty early on in the coaching carousel season, and I can virtually guarantee you that, had we not hired him, someone else would have.
I a certain sense, by hiring Gill as early as Perkins did, he was bidding against himself, but the mere specter of another suitor coming around probably forced his hand a bit. The salary surprised me. I had thought it would have been between $1.3 and $1.5 million, but I don’t have a huge problem with paying Gill $2 million out of the gate.
Operation 39-1 is a go. Proceed to target.
Since I know you were all wondering, a "corollary" is not really the correct term
A corollary is something that follows naturally from proving something else. His idea about how people view T2 is more of a theory/conjecture/hypothesis.
Apology accepted.

No surprise he butchered the meaning of corollary
since his theory about T2 was mediocre. I think T2 is frustrating because of his inconsistency, coupled with the off court actions. Don’t see the love-hate connection.

at least he didn't claim that it WAS a corollary
I just like the way corollary sounds.
Just thought the viewing public would like to know whether or not it really was a corollary. The merits of said corollary hypothesis are another story.

Great photo of AFH.
It is now my desktop background.

Gill, I'm Bill and this is Phil. Gill, I'm Phil and this is Jill. Gill, I'm Jill, you know Bill, Phil...
