Kansas Baseball to Open Season at Metrodome in Minneapolis
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due to sub-freezing temperatures and snow in the forecast this weekend, the Kansas baseball team will open the 2010 season on Monday, Feb. 22 against Eastern Michigan with a doubleheader at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. at 5 p.m.
This marks the second time in the last four years that the Jayhawks have utilized the indoor facility in the Twin Cities. In 2007, KU moved a home series against South Dakota State to the Metrodome.
The Jayhawks won two of three games in that 2007 series and are 3-3 all-time at the indoor facility.

Any baseball starting is a great thing!
Where’s JQ? I want some preview information!
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
I believe bkm...
is going to be sending me a preview to post.
52 Conference Championships!! Holy Hell...Good Luck with That!!
send you one?
Have you been in contact with JQ at all? I haven’t seen him post anything here or at RoyalsReview in quite a while.

I have not...
I’m sending him an email to touch base. Perhaps another sabbatical?
Bkm follows KU baseball very closely as well and if I’m not mistaken he covers them for another blog or something. He’s writing up a preview that he’ll be emailing me to post for him sometime in the next day or two. Hopefully we’ll here from JQ in the time being.

JQ will not be writing this year. He is working on his dissertation and job hunting. Maybe he will chime in from time to time. I will do my best to provide KU baseball information. A preview should be posted tomorrow.
