Rock Chalk Talk 2.10.10
The Rock Chalk Talk links post makes a comeback this morning, because there is a particularly good crop of articles to be shared, read and discussed today. That's probably how this will go from now on. I'm a night owl and get my Tweets on Twitter (follow me @KCsince88) every night when new articles get posted. I read them all, I tell you if there are any worth reading. If there's only one or two, I will likely just FanShot them. If I miss any good ones that you catch, do the FanShot yourself, please. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all of my fellow Rock Chalk Talk members, and all Jayhawks everywhere, a Happy Umbrella Day!!!
Today's Birthdays - actor Robert Wagner (80), 1972 Olympic seven-time gold medalist Mark Spitz (60), actress Sharon Stone (52) former Mets outfielder Lenny Dykstra (47), radio and TV host Glenn Beck (46), former Rockies catcher Claude "Jayhawk" Owens (41), Astros firstbaseman Lance Berkman (34) and finally, Royals thirdbaseman Alex Gordon (26)

I can't imagine what it would be like
to jump that high on a jump shot. I’m lucky to clear 3 inches on mine. It’s really more of a hop shot.
Me no likey T2.
The effect of Mario's shot on the quality of my day...
…has been negated by the fact today is the day Glenn Beck was brought into this world.
Oh my dear lord...this is RETARDED boss...

Oh, shit.
Didn’t catch that one. I went off two different birthday sites. Neither had him. Guess he’s not worth listing.
He’s 51, btw.

Mario v.2011
Obviously, it is way early to think much about next year, especially when we don’t really know who we’ll lose from this team. That being said, I’m excited about who we already have on the team, and the possibilities for next year.
It’s also a bit disappointing to think about the possibilities of ML at TE or OLB for the Jayhawks. My guess is that Turner more than makes up for “missing out” on ML :-)

Remember that rather fetching redhead behind KU"s bench at the Texas game? Yep, she’s already an internet celebrity:

Apparently she’s already being stalked on facebook and twitter by hundreds of dudes. I’m not going to name any names, but I think we all know one or two fellas from around here that probably need to cool it…

Well,
it appears she doesn’t like sports much, so yeah, dudes could do better.
Many of us already have, right Denver? Labba? Other married RCTers?
Operation 39-1 is a go. Proceed to target.
Also, Beak 'Em, Mecham!!!
