Kansas Jayhawk News and Notes 11.9.10
And now...you're pee wee football highlight of the week. Fine letter is in the mail kid, they found you...I don't know how, but they found you.
Emporia State tonight and our second basketball focused open thread to go along with it. Last exhibition game before the real opener and I have to admit I love the fact that these things sell out as if they mattered. Not many teams in the Big 12 come close to accomplishing that feat.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again,
My son will NEVER play football. Never.

College Hockey!
I back it
Hockey is a more cerebral game anyway. Maybe your son will play for Kansas City’s NHL team (if and when they get one).

plus kids don't start checking until
Bantams which usually means that the kids have a little more body control and are less apt to get lit up like that.
Is that seat getting a little warm, Mr. Gill?
Come on that is pretty weak
How about flag football?

Yeah saw that earlier this morning
Pretty good call, although I didn’t know it was legal to not snap the ball through the center’s legs…

On a "swinging gate" the center slings it to the side.
Watching the clip, it’s pretty clear that even the umpire was lost. Cracked me up.

Nonsense
Tebow Christ will live forever.
build a damn football program, beat some ass, and get on tv more.
I just figured he's unlikely to be anywhere near as huge in the press as he was,
strike while the iron’s still warm.

I'm writing a memoir type book
Of my last job and how horrible it was. Lots of funny stories, lots of no way stories, lots of holy crap stories.
Its gonna be awesome mane
Shit happens when you win championships
I think we could all write horrible job memoirs
Although mine would be not be funny only how 1 year of my life was miserable with the only bright spot being KU Basketball
