OT: So random, but absolutely, positively, undoubtedly THE best video ever made in the history of history. You know you are top-of-the-line when you can take the downs and spin them into something so magnificent, like this.
Just, wow.

Oh my god.
Al Pacino’s “inch by inch” speech is one of my favorite cinematic moments ever. I just LOVE the speech and the video hurt until the very end.
GREAT find.
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.

My favorite video of all time.
Good call, KC.
I’ve watched it at least five times tonight.
The beginning is what makes it so epic, too. And that speech. Never seen Any Given Sunday, but that speech was absolutely incredibly written. And well-acted. I really, really want to watch the movie now.
don't.
It’s lame as hell.
It’s the only movie I’ve ever walked out of.
Wait. Sarah Palin's in Hong Kong? But who's watching Russia?
Wow that is awesome
very well made video. Lots of work put into this one.
Hard to complain at all because it is really good, but I would’ve extended the championship stuff just a little bit more, I mean there was so much time and effort to the lead up that when we only got that little bit from the Title game I was a little dissappointed. Still great stuff, though.

I was also
expecting to see Cole dunking over Suckborough….

You know what else this video did for me
lowered my hopes a little. It sucks, but damn is it hard to win the national championship!
How many great teams did that video show before we finally got to the one that worked and we BARELY got that one. I look at the team 2 years ago and I look at this year’s team and I see a huuuuge difference. I really believe that 2008 team would destroy this team we have coming in. I guess we just have to hope that they grow together over the course of this season.

Eh I don't know
Memphis had a stud freshman, we have one next year. The rest of our team stacks up well against Memphis’ players (Cole inside, Sherron at point, the younger kids should be better). Our team next is year is pretty comparable to Memphis’ team and they were that close to beating us in the title game (really should have if you look at it without crimson and blue glasses on but who wants to do that?)
Agreed.
Jackson, Kaun and Arthur would have destroyed the Twins and anybody else playing down low. Also, Russ and Mario were those ball-hawking, heat-seeking missiles and were always in the perimeter passing lanes. It was soooooo impossible for opposing guards to not turn the ball over against those two.
lol can't have a CKC without KC - Nicholai Khabibulin (LN21)
You don't think Cole could take Kaun at this point?
I think that team doubles Cole in the post, which leaves somebody open. Chalmers or Robinson would’ve eaten Tyshawn alive though, for sure. Rush could destroy Morningstar, but would he assert himself enough to do so?

One thing to think about...
Is that this year’s team doesn’t have to beat the 2007 team for the title. They simply have to beat the teams they play this year. In 2008, UNC was basically the same team they were when we beat the crap out of them in the Final Four, but they were able to roll to a championship without ever really being challenged. Things can change so much every year in college sports.
Michigan State was damned good last year. But they didn’t have a Derrick Rose or even a CD-R level player, IMO. If Rush, Chalmers, and Arthur had returned, wouldn’t you be pretty confident in saying the team probably repeats as champs?
