You know, you'd think after the pressure Lane Kiffin got for what he's said...

…other coaches in the SEC wouldn’t think to spout off like that on other teams.

Classy. Real classy.

I don't know, I like to think that things started out initially with good intentions, but then we just loused it up. Kind of like intelligence. We have this glorious thing that allowed us to survive for millenia and now we use it to write porn film plots involving pterodactyls. Talk about wasting the gift.

Ugh

I try REALLY hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. Live and let live, generally, is my principle. It’s over for Calipari, though, after this. You don’t hear Roy Williams or Mike Krzyzewski talk shit like this. And why is that? Because they have class. Calipari? Classless. Rich Brooks? Lame tool of classless Calipari.

It’s always classy to kick a program when it’s dealing with a difficult situation. What a classless fool is Calipari.

It's rather ironic that people will actually have to pay money to see Michael Moore's new Anti-Capitalism film, don't you think?

wow -

this must have really pissed you off. Takes a lot for you to drop a 4-letter word…

Wait. Sarah Palin's in Hong Kong? But who's watching Russia?

Ooh, yeah.

Sorry about the foul language, though. I usually try to refrain from such usage in print. Oops.

But yeah, it upset me a lot. I’m sensitive about it, sure. I’m pissed as hell about the situation as a whole (the fighting, I mean). It reflects poorly on KU and, as an alumnus and current student, me (to a lesser extent, I’m sure). To have some coach, especially that one, say something like that is a cheap shot and uncalled for, in my opinion.

But I’m trying to get over it. Basically.

Fuck them

Cheating, slick-backed little *. I’d much rather have my team’s players fighting than cheating. That’s all.

Chickenshit Cal

taking cheap shots at a school that he gives credit for helping launch his career? (He was an assistant at KU under Larry Brown)

Stay classy Coach Cal

What a piece of shit

How about we tweet “I’m glad we don’t massively cheat and lose a season of record amount of wins like other schools do.”

Also has Kentucky football ever been relevant. Like…ever. In history? Yeah, stfu Rich Brooks.

Kentucky peeps just be jealous. Last NC between us two…KU won in 2008. We won the Orange Bowl for the 07 season. Has Kentucky ever made a bowl higher then something like the chic fil-a bowl (probably too high for them). No. Shut up. I would show our players this and really just gear em up more so they go out and take it out on So. Miss.

They had that QB

Lorenz…

That team was fun to watch…

Two things:

1. I don’t get the hate for Calipari here. Yes, he’s a slimeball but did he post this on his twitter? Every basketball coach in the nation most likely had the exact same thought this week.

2. Who the hell is Rick Brooks? Enjoy your Music City bowl every other year. Brooks is the jackass who is spouting off and acting like anyone gives a shit about UK football.

I used to work with an old man that told me. Son, every workplace has a dumbass, if you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.

Agreed

I think people are directing their response at the wrong person. Rich Brooks is the one that made the smart ass comment. Not Calipari. I’m no Calipari fan but I think he’s getting too much grief on this one.
