Tim's

been showing us a lot of love lately

Indeed

He also gave Kansas an A for its performance against UTEP, the best of any Big 12 school to play last week. It’s nice to be getting some positive attention.

I don't know, I like to think that things started out initially with good intentions, but then we just loused it up. Kind of like intelligence. We have this glorious thing that allowed us to survive for millenia and now we use it to write porn film plots involving pterodactyls. Talk about wasting the gift.

Making up for showing us

absolutely zero freaking love the entire offseason.

I don’t read that blog. It is WAY too Big 12 South-oriented.

Thanks for the link, though. He’s a good writer and stuff. I just don’t like wading through 10 Texas and Oklahoma articles to find one Kansas one.

Yeah it does suck sometimes

but there just isn’t enough content out there. So because he does cover the Big 12 with a lot of content every single day, it’s actually a site I check at least once a day.

Just read through the comments on the ESPN site

- never a good idea, btw -

Mizzou fans, but especially Husker-doo’s have no clue what kind of team we have. Someone needs to explain to them that ‘N’ does not stand for ‘knowledge.’

I say we have another 5-6 years of shutting people up every season before we get some decent respect. That’s sort of the way it happened at KSU.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's probably propaganda.

It's sad

How absolutely retarded most sports fans are. “wate”? Are you effing kidding me? The American school system is horribly broken.

I love how this community has grown, but if we start getting commentators like that, I’m sorry, but I’ll just have to bounce. Already gave up on Arrowhead Pride a couple of years ago for “daring” to suggest that Brodie Croyle wouldn’t be a good starting quarterback in the NFL. I checked it out last week during the Ravens game, and the place has only become much more stupid.

Yeah -

I’ve tried to get into AP a few times, there’s just way too much noise.

It’s hard to wade through the stupid.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's probably propaganda.

Yeah AP

has gotten way worse from even last season

by I need more Esteban on Sep 16, 2009 5:58 PM CDT up reply actions

Basically.

I mean, I won’t just bail, but I do plan on strictly enforcing things like simple grammar and intelligent thought and stuff.

I’ll sacrifice hits and SEO to have a better community with more intelligent discussion.

by rockchalk on Sep 16, 2009 4:46 PM CDT up reply actions

yeah the NU

fans are the worst on there. I don’t see it as bad from Mizzou fans there honestly. But the Nebraska arrogance is rediculous.

I think when we beat the shit out of them this year, though, some of them will shut up.
