OGT Roll Call: @ UTEP (Plus Pregame and Postgame)

We set a new record yesterday here at RCT. Most comments ever in a day. It's not official, there's no stat or anything, but I'm 99% positive that we've never hard 2950 comments in a day. Add in some frivolous ones, like on Denver's pregame post, and we just might have hit 3000. So, we did a pretty good job yesterday.

Now, before you get too excited, let me just remind you that 1581 were in the two game-related threads. And some of that is inflated because it took me awhile to actually get the postgame thread up. So, we'll call it 1500 comments in the Kansas threads. That's pretty good.

Add that in with me and Slam spending all day at RCT, and poof, you get 2950. Of course, Slam gets the MVP, but numerous other people deserve accolades as well. It was me and Slam all day, but there was almost always at least one other person there. Kenny, in that awkward time period between halftime of Notre Dame-Michigan and our game, when everyone left. Then there was Grad at the end of the day, and then KC way too late. Other shout-outs go to Bensa, Hunter, JayhawkTom, Denver and Warden for all breaking the century mark.

I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.

I'm ready for a game I can watch on my tv and comment.

After the 1st half, my computer didn’t like the game thread and streaming video both going at the same time.

Great work to all involved though. I joined the postgame thread around midnight and it looked like it was dying. Wake up and there’s 300 new comments.

I used to work with an old man that told me. Son, every workplace has a dumbass, if you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.

Wish I could have stayed around longer

I followed up on the pregame thread and it sounds like I missed some great discussion. But, at least I finally got to participate in my first OGT of some kind.

I don't know, I like to think that things started out initially with good intentions, but then we just loused it up. Kind of like intelligence. We have this glorious thing that allowed us to survive for millenia and now we use it to write porn film plots involving pterodactyls. Talk about wasting the gift.
