SI interview with K-State's Denis Clemente
Then only reason I posted this article is his answer to Luke Winn's question regarding the elbow to Brady Morningstar and slap to Tyrel Reed in last year's game at Bramlage. The really, REALLY annoying thing to me is that nowhere in his response does he ever acknowledge that he shouldn't have done what he did. It's ridiculous that, in this day and age, players think it's acceptable to basically criminally assault another player to "protect his house." Sadly, Winn didn't follow up (at least that we see here), and I can't understand why he didn't ask something like, "Do you regret doing that?" or "would you do it again in a similar situation?"
I'd be interested to hear any other thoughts on this point, even though it's football season.

I will give him credit
for refuting Tim Fitzgerald’s comments,(that people on the KU bench were directing racial slurs at him during the game) but he ignores the slap and gives a pretty half-assed defense of the elbow. I’d guess he’s picked up Frank Martin’s attitude, which is demanding respect from others yet showing little himself.

Right on Re: Fitz
I had meant to mention that in my blurb below the link, but forgot. I definitely give him credit for that. I still think what he did was thuggish. Let’s be blunt. It’s not your house, Denis. It belongs to the state of Kansas. The state of Kansas is nice enough to allow you to play basketball there. It’s not your house.
I really dislike him.
I don’t care that I’m two months late on this.
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.
