The preseason USA Today coaches' poll came out today. Kansas was not ranked in the top 25. They did receive votes however. Nebraska, Notre Dame, BYU, and Oregon State were all ranked ahead of us. This surprises me in the fact, that most preseason magazines and experts have us ranked in the top 25. Yahoo sports is currently doing a countdown of the top 100 teams. They have Kansas at 16, ahead of each of the afore mentioned schools. Looking at the last 2 games of last season, I would at least think that would get us in the top 25 coming from the coaches' point of view. Any thoughts?
