KU's Receiving
I got in a fight with my brother today about receiving in the NCAA. I said that it wouldn't be crazy to say Kansas could have one of the best receiving teams in the nation this year. Last year, they had two 1000 yard guys (Briscoe and Meier), both of whom returning, and a third receiver who I think could surprise a bit (Johnathon Wilson). What do you think?

Definitely.
Athlon Sports preseason magazine had us as the #1 WR corps in the country, IIRC. I left it back home in Cali, so I can’t check it, but, I’m pretty sure we were there.
So, without a doubt, we have one of the best WR corps in college football. Dezmon Briscoe is a Top 5 receiver nationwide, and Kerry Meier should play in the NFL as well. Add in Jonathan Wilson, who is way underrated because of Briscoe and Meier, along with Bradley McDougald, and it isn’t really fair.
I would definitely agree with this
I can’t believe that in some places where they rank positions by the Big 12 we were as low as 3 and 4. I think I saw one that had: 1.Texas 2. Texas Tech 3. Kansas.
I was shocked when I saw that. Still can’t get the respect in some areas. I think that makes Mangino’s teams play hungrier sometimes so let’s hope that’s the case again this season.
