Former KU Golfer in Contention at the U.S. Open
I met Gary Woodland in 2005 when he won the Kansas Amateur in Manhattan. A really good golfer and a nice guy. Hope he plays well in the final two rounds and earns an exemption for next year.

TB-
Are you coming over to the good side of the state of Kansas? You have posting over here quite a bit lately… We would love to welcome you to the family :D
I know it can be hard being a ksu fan sometimes, but don’t think it’s a walk in the park being a Jayhawk… We win conference championships only 5 at a time, ya know…
Haha, only giving you crap, of course.
As for the actual topic – I was unaware that he was a KU guy. That is awesome. I will definitely be rooting for him outside of that El Tigre dude. Thanks for the drop of knowledge.

Haha, no, no conversion for me
Just happened to catch a couple stories I hadn’t seen mentioned yet over here. You guys have a good one in Woodland, he really seems like a good guy.

No conversion...are you sure?
or perhaps you to are on the take, accepting payments from the athletic dept under a vague and unknown corporation of the name TB Inc.
Pretty interesting audit out there.
: )
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
No payments for me
Those were apparently reserved for people who had no idea what they were doing (Weiser excepted).
Our full thoughts on the audit forthcoming shortly. You guys have an audit going, too, but it probably won’t be released.

I think...
the audit’s would be a matter of public record if I’m not mistaken.

Usually, they would...
…but there’s some sort of exception for these audits. They were going to keep ours confidential, but the new University President and Athletic Director wanted it to be made public for obvious reasons. I’m guessing yours will stay under wraps because you haven’t had the well-publicized self-dealing issues we have in the last few years.

makes sense...
I suppose you can’t fault the new regime for wanting to clear the air. I’m not sure what to make of it myself…it’s not like it really diminishes any of the accomplishments on the field, but it does paint those involved in a different light.
