Kansas University basketball coach Bill Self says, yes indeed, senior walk-ons Brennan Bechard and Matt Kleinmann will be in the starting lineup for Saturday’s Senior Day contest against Texas.

"I’ve always planned on doing that. That’s what we do here (at Kansas)," Self said. "I don’t know what the matchups will be (but) both Matt and Brennan will start (in the 3 p.m. tip in Allen Fieldhouse)."

Because if you scroll down past that article on their page you’ll run into a bunch of morons that think that Kleinmann and Bechard shouldn’t start because they aren’t good enough to be starters and it doesn’t give us the best shot to win…
These guys worked their asses off in practice for 5 years (Kleinmann) or 3 years (Bechard) and are part of why we won a national championship. If you’re such a fanatic that you can’t appreciate Senior Night, then why do you watch college basketball at all? Stuff like this is what it is all about. The Fieldhouse is going to be packed, the place will go crazy when Kleinmann and Bechard are announced as starters, and thats how it should be.
