B-Rush on a late tear
Sounds like B-Rush might be finding his scoring touch in the pros. Probably helps that Indy is lottery bound and his playing time is seeing a spike (see: three straight starts), but I'm glad for the guy. His game always seemed well-suited for the League, and hopefully Indy's got another steal from that team we know so well.

But if you scroll down a bit in the article, you’ll see that the Pacers coach is quoted as saying that B-Rush is their best athlete – pretty high praise on an NBA team with Danny Granger.

Great stuff.
Always nice for recruiting for coach Self to point to someone doing well in the pros that came through the program: And stayed 3 years.

he's on Memphis....
tough spot to be, they pretty much suck…at least that’s my understanding
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
he plays. he plays well too.
he doesn’t play much, but when he does he rebounds like no other, he doesn’t get many shots at all because he has Mayo on his team and Marc Gasol, they both hog most of the shots. But i did see him finish an And 1 with a lot of contact against the Przybilla, (the 7’0 monster on Portland) last weekend. If he can get more minutes and more touchs he could be a very solid player.

Actually, Darrell has been starting for Memphis the last month or so.
He has moved into the lineup over Hakim Warrick. Although Warrick ends up playing more minutes in the game because of his ability to spell Rudy Gay at the 3, he is starting. Here are his game stats from every game this year.

Brandon's confidence is back.
He lost it early on, and passed up MANY shots, then his playing time was pretty much cut down to nothing, and a few guys got injured and hes back.
He is the best athlete on the team, Granger isn’t as big of a jumper as brandon, and not as fast. I watch this team everyday and i am psyched right now for next season. Brandon has made it through his rookie season, ups and downs like no other, and is ready to challange the vets for a starting position on a team that could push for the playoffs next season.
His last 4 games he has started, the pacers are 3-1 in, you could tell he was comfortable and having fun, he was smiling and taking shots and dunking like no other. On sunday he had 4 dunks, which prolly equals his total for the rest of the season. He had one where he picked up the loose rebound off the ground under the basket and just went straight up and slammed it on 3 wizards. that brought the fans to their feet. Its great to see because the team is made up of character players and young guys, and the rush/granger combo could become a great 1-2 punch in the NBA.
