Just wanted to put something up to discuss here. So we need one more owner, as it stands, or we postpone? I'd like to get it done tonight.

It should have sent out an automatic email to everybody. Hopefully Slim will come through sometime this week. If not, labba is trying to get Bensa to do it, and fill in as the 10th. No matter what, it WILL happen a week from tonight (March 30th).

I checked at school really fast, and I saw it.
Then, I came back later, and it wasn’t on anymore.
Yes, there was one Denver put up earlier.
Hopefully Lew Perkins isn’t pissed off at our success and is sabotaging the sight.

Denver yanked it down, since it was kind of a null story. It was a story, until it was proven false, then it wasn’t really newsworthy anymore.

yeah...I threw it up...
turns out it was a misquoted report so I left it up for awhile with the update for anyone that had already seen it but then I figured it was worth simply deleting because it was just that a non-story…
basically rivals had reported he had trimmed his list to 10 but then he told the main rivals guy that the ND site had misquoted him and they had simply asked what schools he was looking at to which he gave a few. Said he hasn’t eliminated anyone and is going to take several visits before doing so.
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
Perhaps KC got rid of it:

I’m damn glad we didn’t have it tonight. I got caught up in the catastrophe known as driving home and just now got in. I was all kinds of worried I was going to miss the draft and end up with 14 Third Basemen.

I went ahead
and determined the draft order, by way of a random draw. By doing it this way, instead of letting ESPN.com do it, it allows us to trade picks if anybody wants to. The order goes like this:
1. Slam Dunk The Funk (Slam Dunk The Funk)
2. Denver Dall Sheep (Denver)
3. KC88 Greinke’s Meds (KCs88)
4. Cy Lincecum (giants)
5. Your Mom (labba)
6. Slow Dance (SlowDance)
7. Western Kansas AAA All Stars (4ships)
8. Team Mexituff (Esteban)
9. Warden’s Royals (Warden)
10. The 10 the person, whoever that ends up being.

I’ve got some questions, but I’m considering it, having been invited by Labba.
1. Is there any fee?
2. Actually, question 1 is about it. I just got laid off, so money is tight right now.
Also, I’ve done fantasy football, but never baseball. I’m a quick study, but I have no idea what I would be doing starting off, so if that’s a problem, let me know.

no fee. And it’s not a deep league, so there will be plenty of good players to go around and build a solid team. I think at this point, that Slim has had long enough that if you decide you want to accept, Bensa, that you are in.

I mean, Team 10 is a fine name, but I’d like to personalize it, if at all possible.

then, just above the team name, hit “Edit Team Info”. Should all be in there.
