Rock Chalk Talk Preview -- Baylor Bears
Here is the Event Page for the first Kansas-Baylor contest. Obviously, it's all really old stuff, but still very, very interesting.
Read it, if you want any primer-type-background stuff heading into the game. The rematch, if you will.

Hmmm, thanks for the link.
I remember that game well. First Big Monday of the year. We were all UBER-PUMPED for that one. It was either the beginning of the end, or the continuance of a great start. Obviously, Baylor didn’t turn out to be the big time threat everyone expected, but they still put up a good fight.
IIRC, this game was the one where the Twins really started to come into their own. No stats off the top of my head, but I recall they took advantage of their size against a smaller opposition, and really took it to ‘em. Sherron played must shoot better in the rematch, than he did in the first game, along with still bringing the lockdown D. And, of course, we need more of those clutch Relly Ice 3’s, particularly before the half. Didn’t he do that in the first game, too?
"I log on to RCT after school, and I see the 228 comments on this thread. I actually immediately panicked, because knowing KC, I figured some other fan from another school (most likely Mizzou) came over and said something stupid. Then, KC freaked out at him, and said something stupid (no offense, KC, but this really wouldn’t be that extraordinary for you to pull off) and then there was mass hysteria. I would have to ban people, and warn people, and it’d be mass chaos." - SlowDance
Odds-on favorite to win the "1st Annual Rock Chalk Talk Tournament Pick 'Em Contest" :D
Morris Twins...
22 points 15 boards…very solid showing by them in this one.
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
Looking for some good b-ball today.
I will have to watch the cbs scoreboard update and read the glog for this one….what is up with KU on at 11:30, no one got the memo that the #1 seed is playing today?

that's how the Big 12 tourney...
has always been…#1 seed plays the early games. It can actually become an advantage because as the 2 or 3 your team often times doesn’t get the sleep they should. A few years back I can remember a story about Wayne Simien playing the semifinal game, going to overtime, doing postgame interviews and then having to do random NCAA drug testing. By the time it was all finished he didn’t get to bed until like 2-3 in the morning with a game at 1pm or so the next day.
