Wow.

Just, wow.

Nothing else to say, really.

An incredible performance from our Jayhawks (particularly my Morris twins, baby!), and an even better performance from the RCT community. What's funny is that no one really went apeshit and had some ridiculous posting. And, we only had 12 members, one-post-cameos included and everything.

It's just, five people went over the century mark, and four others put up more than twenty.

With all of that said, all of that tremendous stuff said, here are the statistics:

In the non-moderator division, KC takes home the MVP honors.

The post of the game will be one of the many "dance" comments made at my behalf; they were all hilarious, all made you laugh out loud, and all deserve to be recognized.

Congrats to everyone who made fun of me, congrats to KC for his 152 comments, and most of all, congrats to everyone who showed up and posted something at some time. 1017 comments is a ridiculous number, and even the busiest of SB Nation College blogs (like Bruins Nation, which gets thousands upon thousands of visits a day) don't reach four digits very often.

I love all of you. I really mean that. Because of all of you, this season has been even more fun than last year's National Championship run.

Although, there were plenty of really funny ones last night.

It was pretty cool stuff, even though it took an hour. Rockchalk acquitted himself well considering the shots he took. The pre-game talk is getting very good. I’m sorry I missed it.

Agreed.

The pregame, and haltime, (which I missed last night) is great. I sparked the whole halftime conversation topic, without even knowing it, or even being here. Pretty great that we can just run with it like that.

Does Papa Johns still have their late night special? After 9 you can get a large 1-topping for $6.99. To this day I STILL have the Lawrence Papa Johns in my cell phone. I just refuse to take it out.

Is that ratty Chinese restaurant still there on 23rd and Iowa behind Cork and Barrel? Why does it always seem that the dirtiest rattiest Chinese restaurants are always the best?

Peking Taste. I once got a call from a Lawyer like 4 years after I moved out of Lawrence. I guess I bounced a check (ha, checks, remember those?) there for like $8 or something.

Ended up costing me a lot more than that but I thought it funny that they sent a lawyer after me for essentially $8.

Yeah, I love these OGTs. Even besides the game, they are a joy to read.

And the coolest part, to me at least, with the thousand-comment OGT’s is there are very few “FUCK!!!!”-type comments, or like “Come on, we need a three here”. That sort of stuff. No, the vast, vast majority of our comments are intelligent; things that are interesting to watch after the fact.

It’s awesome. Lots of times, I’ll go back and read them later. I don’t know if I want to read 1000 comments again, but I might.

It was a blast.

And yeah, pregame stuff is usually pretty awesome…

So, does this mean I don’t need to bring my steroids? Sharing is caring. I do plan to make it in for a game, just moved and haven’t been able to make it in here yet. What’s this about a high school dance? Are we now bringing minors in the room? Are they at least cute?
