This one's for you, KGRTC!!
Ex-Jayhawk Gregory moves to Spain
Former Kansas standout Kenny Gregory is now a member of Pamesa Valencia, a Spanish team in the Euroleague. He had been playing in Greece.
The signing was met with general approval on the Pamesa Valencia message board, though one fan noticed Gregory’s 57-percent shooting from the line, which is a big improvement from his KU days (43.8 percent).

Man he was sweet
around the rim though. A natural slasher. Its a good thing he and Kieth Langford weren’t on the same team…
Uh-huh.
There are an incredible amount of similarities between good ol’ KG and Travis Releford. Terrible FT shooter, absolutely outstanding driver.
Hopefully, Releford can get as good as Gregory was. Because, I have a feeling we’re going to have a much better supporting cast than those late 90’s teams, and he could be a really useful player. In fact, I really think he will be.
Sick. Just sick.
I forgot how well that guy could get up. And, that was just coming out of HS.

Great video.
Underrated player, but since he was in Eric Chenowith’s class, he got lumped in with all that negativity. Chenowith was good his first two years, but Roy tried to force leadership on him and he wouldn’t take it. Really led to a disfunctional team for a couple of years, with the fans being harshly critical & Chenowith taking shots back.

I remember when Chenowith was drafted.
The studio guy said it best. When asked for his reaction to the pick, he simply stated: “My mom always taught me that if you can’t say something nice….”
Pretty much how I feel about him.
Gregory is one of my favorite Jayhawks, though.
I am Jack's unbridled optimism.
