OGT Roll Call: vs. Iowa State

Not a tremendous effort, but given the circumstances, a fine performance. I was late, then was non-existent the last 5 minutes. Denver destroyed his laptop with water, which didn't help. And KC was likely at the game. Still, we managed to nearly get to 400 (392, currently), which is decently impressive.

Warden wins MVP honors (has it been him or KC every game? Oh, hunter had that one Colorado game, but is that really it...), with mad props also going out to SlamDunk for besting both moderators. Somehow, Denver managed to beat me, which is ridiculous. Of course, few of his comments were coherent, so he's automatically disqualified. Thanks go out to hunter, Danny "I wanna watch the Bulls" Satan, I need "I'm going to go watch Lost, aight" more Esteban and a couple of cameos from wrigley, giants and labba.

Sorry, hunter, you didn't leave the thread for anything, so I couldn't poke fun. My bad.

Saturday should be another quiet one, with the Cornhuskers coming into town (the same Nebraska team that just squeaked by Colorado, in Lincoln, 46-41, of course). Plus, I'm gearing up for Monday night. and I'd be willing to bet I'm not the only one.

We're going to beat Boomer Sooner.

At least Saturday

will be on TV. I’ve found that KU games are usually preempted or blacked out on streaming radio. I can’t figure out why. If the NCAA want to black out online broadcasts they should at least let you pay for it? Its stupid that they would just pull it down altogether. I wonder if that’s an NCAA thing or a Lew thing… hmm. I wouldn’t mind paying a fee to get all KU games on radio. I do it for baseball.

Hope Denver gets his keyboard fixed. I lol’d even when reading the open thread after the fact.

you have no idea how long...

that bare bones stat review took. Lots of deleting involved. I will be investing in a new computer by saturday without a doubt and I’ll get the Husker preview up before then with my computer at work. Definitely a rough night though, I really thought I was going to come out all right and then it gradually got worse…oh well, that’s life.

Can you have a repair shop just fix your laptop or is the issue now more than just the keyboard?

Yeah it should be

as long as its just a hardware issue and non of the internals are damaged, you should be able to simply have the keyboard swapped out. I doubt that a repair place would have the exact model on hand and they might have to order it but it should be fixable. Maybe check eBay too, they’re always selling computer parts there.

Not a bad game to miss.

Great start, then we eased off and kept letting ISU back in it. Cole was good all game, and Sherron had several fantastic drives to the basket late to finish it off, but there was a lot of mediocre stuff. The interior passing was awful, and it’s disturbing a physically challenged team like the clones can force us into so many turnovers. Self was angry enough after the pre-game shoot-around that he made the team run, so perhaps the players are just looking forward to Oklahoma already.
