Does Texas deserve a shot at the National Championship?
Ohio writer blogs about the inequities of the BCS system. We all know it, but a really well written argument deserves to be read.

The thing about Texas that gets me is that their best win all season was against Oklahoma State. So the only thing we “know” about the Longhorns is that they’re better than #16 or so. Cincy, Boise, and TCU all have better wins than that, but never even really had a chance of getting into the title game, despite what we “know.”
Instead, this all about what we “think.” We “think” Texas is really good because of tradition, recruiting history, etc. So even after a 13 game season, we STILL are picking our title teams on hunches and preseason rankings, rather than what we’ve actually seen on the field this year. If that’s true, why even have the season? Why not just have who we think is the best Big 12 team play who we think is the best SEC team every year and skip the charade?
RODD TEESING, my arch-nemesis! Give us back our TODD, you rapscallion!

Because the season is a playoff.
I used to work with an old man that told me- Son, every workplace has a dumbass. If you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.
