I would think this would be a huge get for the Jayhawks. I don’t know much about Nutt but I have heard he is a great recruiter. He could probably help keep most of our 2010 commits as well as bring in new ones.
couple thoughts...
Nutt is always floated around out there when jobs open up and he always ends up with a bigger contract at his current school as a result so we’ll see if this isn’t more than a little bit of leveraging.
That said, he is reported to be unhappy there and players like to play for the guy.
Also interesting note, Kale Pick committed to Nutt and Arkansas prior to his departure for Ole Miss.
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
Again Nutt...where the hell is this coming from?
Why would he wanna leave Ole Miss after only two seasons? Are they running out of talent and KU is just a better shot, money, what?
Nutt and the AD at Ole Miss bump heads...
speculated that one of the two will have to depart in the near future anyway. Also apparently Nutt and Coach Bill Self are cousins. Not sure if that plays into this at all but the money KU will offer is definitely going to be a decent pay day.

Can't blame a guy for thinking about heading to the Big 12,
the SEC is hell if you want to win a NC. The Big 12 isn’t a cakewalk, but the North is a little friendlier than either SEC division right now.
I used to work with an old man that told me- Son, every workplace has a dumbass. If you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.
Also...
You don’t have to deal with KKK rallies outside your biggest home game of the season. Think that might have had some recruiting ramifications???
Remember Jayhawk fans: no matter how bad things seem, they could always be worse.
