"It was playing more not to mess up," Wilson said. "We were scared to mess up. That’s a big problem. We were scared to mess up."
Crazy to see this and I do believe that this was a factor for our team this year. In my time in athletics, I definitely have seen this, at the end of a basketball game when you have the lead, if you start playing NOT to lose instead of playing to win, that is when a team makes a comeback. The same can be said for a lot of sports. I'm excited for a fresh start.

Thanks for the link Este..
I’m thinking between now and the start of next season, statements like this will begin to trickle out there. Also, if J Wilson was scared, how the hell do you think our corners felt? Wilson was given more than ample opportunity but one mistake on defense and a corner got pulled immediately.
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
Now that I think about it
There were many times when Wilson seemed pretty scared out there… It would be great if he could blossom into our #1 or #2 option next year.
"Here are our top priorities: recruit, beat Missouri, recruit, win the North, recruit, win the Big 12, and in most cases if you win the Big 12 then you're playing for a National Championship. And then we're going to recruit."

We'll need him to
When he was younger and played more free, he was deadly at times (South Florida game for example). The more expectations of him have mounted, the less he has produced (athough Meier and Briscoe had a lot to do with that).
Excited and hopefully J-Wil puts it all together this year
