BREAKING NEWS: Mizzou Basketball CHAOS!!!
Heh. It's probably not what you think, but it is quite the funny story. The two best women on MU's team beat up a (male) cheerleader at a party for trying to quiet them down. Now they join other notable MU alumni like Ricky Clemons and Kenneth Lay in jail. Note the funny twitter post. The end.

good stuff
I was going to put up a fanshot that Stanford signed Harbaugh to an extension, but I don’t want to knock this down from the top spot.

I don’t get why the Big Ten would seriously consider adding Mizzou. They’re not a top 100 school academically, places like Trinity and Smith have larger endowments (the entire Missouri system is 75th overall; KU on its own is 62nd), their fans don’t travel worth a damn, and they’re good for at least 1-2 embarrassing failures either on the field or off (like this) every year.
And why do Mizzou fans blame the Big 12 for getting passed over for bowls, and not their failure of an AD?
"Here are our top priorities: recruit, beat Missouri, recruit, win the North, recruit, win the Big 12, and in most cases if you win the Big 12 then you're playing for a National Championship. And then we're going to recruit."

Huh?
Big 10 what?
I used to work with an old man that told me- Son, every workplace has a dumbass. If you don't have one where you work, then I'm afraid you're it.
Well, Barry Alverez came out this week pushing for the Big Ten to add a 12th team, and the commissioner seemed to be supportive of the idea.
Some people think Mizzou would make sense for geography reasons. Mizzou might be considering it because they believe they’ve been screwed by the Big 12 bowl system 3 years in a row now, and they hardly ever get on national TV (unlike us, who somehow still got 3 straight weeks on ABC to end the season). Also, I didn’t realize this, but the Big 12 doesn’t do even revenue sharing among all members. And since Mizzou will never be successful enough to earn a lot of money on its own, this is a problem for them.
Anyways, I think it would be a bad choice for the Big Ten for the reasons I listed above.

Wow, hadn't heard any of that at all.
Saw where the Big 10 was interested in possibly expanding, but never anything about a Mizzou connection. I’d be very shocked to see it happen, but wouldn’t care either way.

Yeah, only affect I see for us is that it would essentially take away one non-conference game every year, since I don’t see anyone wanting to give up the Border War. Would the basketball game be moved to the Sprint Center? That might take a little of the juice out of the rivalry.
